Poppets Nursery is located in purpose-built accommodation on land adjacent to St Leonard’s Primary School off Innage Lane, Bridgnorth. We are set back well away from the road, in secure grounds, with the benefit of parking just outside.
We have extensive grounds, including our own garden where the children enjoy growing vegetables (which they use to cook!) and flowers, as well as a sensory garden for little ones to experience different smells and textures.
In addition to the grassed area, there is a paved zone where tables and chairs are set up for outside work.
Children’s physical capabilities are developed through our wide range of outdoor toys, equipment and activities, whilst shade from the harsh sunshine is provided with large parasols.
Our indoor activities take place in a bright, welcoming and warm environment with lots of pictures and resources to stimulate children’s learning, whilst providing comfort and security.
We have a dedicated kitchen / craft area where children undertake a range of craft activities, as well as trying out their cooking skills. In addition, we have a changing area and toilets.
Staff pay great attention to hygiene – as well as encouraging children to develop an awareness themselves by washing hands before eating, the nursery is kept spotlessly clean with regular deep cleanses to minimise the risk of spreading infection.
